︎︎︎ Awarded MADA NOW: Outstanding Project

It's About Time is an installation that highlights the concept of time as an integral element of every individual's survival. By juxtaposing different kinetic sculptures and various themes that reflect the passage of time, the project aims to place an emphasis on the finite amount of time that every living being has to survive and that most human beings have taken for granted.

Transtemporal Springvale

︎︎︎A0 Poster
Supervised by: Dane Kerr & Kasia Ilczyszyn

Established on the physical investigation and documentation of a ‘place’ (in this case, Springvale), this poster aims to bring the beholders a fresher perspective on this suburb—one that is imbued with nostalgia and cultural personality.

Constructed using self-photographed images during my ‘observation’, the poster focuses on the spiritual facet of Springvale. Despite holding cultural significance, I remember, as a kid, being frightened by the unusual and larger-than-life appearance of the included subject matters, leading to the final design provoking a mysterious, spooky sense of atmosphere.

︎︎︎Self-produced Short Film
Supervised by: Van Sowerwine

A self-produced film captured during the early stages of the pandemic and lockdown. Employing the symbolism of a dreamcatcher, this short film guides the audience through a non-linear narrative, subtly touching upon themes of bullying and depression. With an intentionally open ending, the film encourages personal interpretation and reflection.

︎︎︎Animated Branding
Supervised by: Jess Kerss

This project necessitates the design of a branding asset for a company of my invention. This includes a backstory development for the company, an animated logo reveal, and a supporting animation that represents the identity of the brand.

Taking advantage of the openness of the task, I ventured into the realm of exploration by conceiving a transplanetary music festival catering to an extraterrestrial audience. The primary objective of this unique festival is to foster stronger interstellar connections between earthlings and aliens. The festival's distinguishing feature lies in showcasing performances by earthlings, aimed at promoting Earth's diverse culture to other planets while also facilitating an understanding of the unique customs of the neighbouring planet.
